Dermal Fillers

What are they?

Dermal fillers are produced from a naturally occurring sugar in the human tissue called hyaluronic acid. Since hyaluronic acid is found in human tissue, allergy testing is not required before commencing this treatment.

How does it work?

As we age, we start losing volume and skin structure. With the help of dermal fillers, we can assist you in re-volumise and restoring the structure of your face.

What areas can be treated?

  • Deep lines and furrows

  • Nasolabial furrows which appear from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth

  • Marionette lines which are visible from the corner of the mouth to the jaw

  • Vertical frown lines between the eyebrows

  • Horizontal worry lines on the forehead

  • Crow’s feet

  • Tear troughs

  • Facial scarring (acne or traumatic)

What does treatment involve?

Prior to treatment anaesthetic cream may be used for your comfort.

After the application of the cream, injections of dermal fillers are introduced to the treatment area.

Our dermal fillers also contain an anaesthetic that makes sure to offer a more comfortable experience.

After the treatment is completed, the area is massaged which helps in moulding and contouring the filler.
