Dermal Fillers

What are they?

Dermal fillers are made from a naturally occurring sugar called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is found in human tissue which means that allergy testing is not required before treatment.

How does it work?

With the ageing process, we lose volume and skin structure. Dermal fillers help to re-volumise and restore the structure of your face.

What areas can be treated?

  • Deep lines and furrows

  • Nasolabial furrows (from the side of the nose to the corner of the mouth)

  • Marionette lines (from the corner of the mouth to jaw)

  • Vertical frown lines between the eyebrows

  • Horizontal worry lines on the forehead

  • Crow’s feet

  • Tear troughs

  • Facial scarring (acne or traumatic)

What does treatment involve?

Prior to treatment anaesthetic cream may be used for your comfort.

Injections of dermal fillers are delivered to the treatment area.

Our dermal fillers also contain an anaesthetic to ensure a more comfortable experience.

At the conclusion of the treatment, the area is massaged to help mould and contour the filler.
