About the ROLE
Advanced Laser Clinic provides unique, state of the art, non-invasive procedures suitable for all skin types, such as Laser Face Lifting, Piano Skin Tightening, Frac3 Hair Removal and more.
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Dermal/Beauty Therapist for our Advanced Laser Clinic in Sanctuary Lakes, Point Cook. Our clinic offers advanced skin treatments, laser hair removal, cosmetic injectables and tattoo's.
We're helping Australians of all ages amplify whatever it is that makes them feel great and confident about themselves, in our Covid safe clinic.
As our new Dermal/Beauty Therapist, you will care for our clients from the moment they walk in the door with your exceptional customer service skills. You will love all things skin as we provide a holistic approach that ensures every client receives the optimum treatments that support, nourish and care for their skin and beauty needs.
This is a unique opportunity to join our clinic and become a valued therapist and key member of our team.
Ideally, you will work permanent part time of 20 hours per week or permanent full time hours at 38 hours a week.

Duties and responsibilities

Be able to perform most beauty treatments including massage

Perform skin consultations and assessments

Deliver precise, efficient and consistent full body waxing treatments including eyebrow, upper lip, under arm plus all bikini wax offerings (e.g. Brazilian)

Competent with tinting, eyebrows, eyelashes

Create skin programs for your clients including treatment and product protocol

Have a positive can-do attitude always putting the client first

Must be prepared to help other team members and thrive in a team environment

You will be expected to share the role of answering the phone, booking in, responding to social media messages and greeting clients
It goes without saying, that as the face of our brand, you pride yourself on your grooming and impeccable presentation
About YOU

You are as passionate about beauty as we are, you believe in the industry and will promote our services and pride yourself on making our clients feel great

Have completed a Diploma of Beauty Therapy combined with 2 years previous salon experience

You have technical skills in skin assessments and treatments, having a sound knowledge of the skins' physiology and anatomy

A great communicator, confident in diagnosing skin conditions and able to explain this to clients in consultations in an understanding and nurturing manner

You are kind, friendly, approachable and always put the client first, accommodating their beauty needs and treatment times

Self-motivated and able to use initiative in challenging situations

You have a passion for learning and educating yourself in this ever-evolving industry

Be trained in Safeclinics or happy to train immediately

Able and willing to work some late nights plus Saturday's on a roster
